Fair trade shop

The Monte Berico shop was established in 2001 by the community of the Servants of Mary of Monte Berico to raise funds for mission projects aimed at helping and supporting communities through initiatives in education, health, and community development.
The product offerings reflect an alternative approach to conventional markets, promoting social justice and fair trade, and creating conditions for sustainable development. The fundamental principle is respect for local producers, aiming to ensure dignified work and fair compensation while respecting the environment. Support is given to organic production, the use of recyclable materials, and environmentally friendly production and distribution processes.

Magazine

In 1908, when Father Alfonso Novella (1841-1910), then prior of the Monte Berico convent, initiated the publication of the bulletin “La Madonna di Monte Berico”, with the first issue appearing in 1909, no one involved could have foreseen the relevance, history, and memory this communication tool would carry between the sanctuary and the world.

Witness to two World Wars and many profound transformations and crises of contemporary times, the bulletin has traversed the tumultuous 20th century and entered the new millennium with the same spirit of light and hope that has characterized the Marian sanctuary since its inception, making it a destination for numerous pilgrimages, including some intercontinental ones.

Today, the subscriber community extends to many countries around the world and represents for many expatriates a religious and cultural connection to their land of origin, a way to maintain a long-distance dialogue with the daily reality of the sanctuary deeply rooted in the heart.
